Leonardo Da Vinci

April 15, 1452 - May 2, 1519

Leonardo da Vinci was an Italian who lived in the time of the Renaissance. He was famous for his paintings but he was also a scientist, mathematician, engineer, inventor, anatomist, sculptor, architect, botanist, musician, and a writer. Leonardo wanted to know how everything worked. Da Vinci was thought of by many people as one of the greatest artists ever.
